The trip that Maria planned for us was wonderful. The hotels that we stayed in were in great locations, had lovely staff and were clean and beyond comfortable. Everything went off as planned, and there was always a person waiting for us at the specific time identified and when needed, a specific place. Unfortunately, we had poor weather in Florence which caused the trip down the Arno to be cancelled, but the guide did an excellent job of spending more time in the Uffizi museum. We stayed in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast at a wonderful hotel very close to the square. We would rethink taking an all day driving tour to three of the towns up the Amalfi coast. It was extremely crowded, and it was a long time in the car. If we did it again, we probably would have just chosen to go to the city of Amalfi and Positano and skip Ravello. It was difficult to get to Ravello with one of the roads being only one lane.
Rome was everything we hoped for and more. The place that we stayed was in the perfect location, we could walk to all of the sites we wanted to see and had a number of palazzo to pick when deciding where to eat. We stayed for 3 days, 4 nights and could have stayed longer.
We would definitely use Maria and Wendy Perrin to plan another trip.
