Our trip was absolutely fabulous. We were in Italy for a week and a half this past September/October and everything was excellent. We started our journey in Milan where we stayed at the Hotel Spadari al Duomo for three nights. The hotel was excellent and even provided us with a free bottle of champagne and some strawberries upon learning that it was our honeymoon. It was central to all the main sights and shopping of Milan. The included breakfasts were also excellent! Our next stop was in Parma, and all the transfers went off without a hitch. We stayed at the Park Hotel Pacchiosi which was amazingly beautiful. The service, as well as the food, was excellent there was well. We went on a short city tour in the evening we arrived which allowed us to get a sense of what the small city had to offer. The next day we went on a food tour which showcased all the things Parma and the surrounding area are known for; Parmesan cheese, Prosciutto, and Balsamic Vinegar! The tour guide was super knowledgeable and passionate and we truly learned a lot. The last stop of our trip was in Bologna, where we stayed at the Hotel Touring which was also excellent. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the cooking lesson we took in Bologna at the Salotto di Penelope where we learned to prepare pasta and a variety of sauces from scratch. Overall we would recommend this trip to anyone who loves food and has a passion for art, history, and culture. Everything went off without a hitch and someone was always there to answer the phone if we had any questions about our accommodations, tours or transfers.
