Italy

Italy has discontinued the Green Pass system and the United States has lifted the testing requirement to fly back home. It is advised that you carry your CDC vaccination card with you at all times to be presented upon request and to have a mask on hand, (FFP2 – European equivalent of K95), as it may be required to wear one on public transportation and in other indoor venues.

Switzerland

Travel into Switzerland is open for both the U.S. and Canadian travelers who are fully vaccinated. It is not possible to enter Switzerland if not vaccinated or based on a recovered status. To be considered fully vaccinated, you must have received your vaccine (booster or second shot) within 270 days of arrival in Switzerland. The United States has lifted the testing requirement to fly back home.
